I provide a live experience that captures the style and energy of your event. Each portrait is hand-painted on-site in just minutes, providing both entertainment during the celebration and a personal gift for your guests to cherish.
Portraits come in 5"x7" premium watercolor paper. Each portrait comes with a protective plastic sleeve.
The Style
I use watercolor and a pencil sketch to create quick portraits in a loose and expressive style. These portraits are intended as artistic interpretations rather than exact likenesses.

If your guest count exceeds my live portrait capacity, I can draw the rest of your guests after the event, and mail the finished portraits back to you in 2-3 weeks. This way, everyone gets a chance to be sketched!

What is the live watercolor portrait experience?
It is a unique form of event entertainment where I create quick, loose, impressionistic sketches of your guests in real-time. Rather than a traditional photo booth, guests receive a hand-painted piece of art to take home as a keepsake.
How many guests can you paint?
I typically illustrate 10 guests per hour. Individual portraits take about 6 minutes, while pairs take approximately 12 minutes.
What happens if you can’t finish everyone during the event?
I will finish portraits in my studio and mail them back to you in 2-3 weeks time.
If your guest count is higher than my live portrait capacity, you can opt-in for Post-Event Portraits. I will keep taking photos of guests until the maximum capacity is reached, and complete any remaining portraits in my studio.
Do my guests have to sit still while you paint?
Not at all! To ensure your guests can keep enjoying the party, I will take a quick reference photo of them. They are then free to return to the festivities while I work on their portrait.
Do you travel?
Yes! I am based in Toronto. Travel is included for events within 20 km one-way from my location. For venues outside this local coverage area, a travel fee applies.
Can I add custom branding?
Yes! You can request custom branding, such as your names and event date, to be handwritten or printed on each portrait for an additional fee.
How much does it cost?
Packages start at $420 for 3 hours of live service (~30 guests painted).
