It is a unique form of event entertainment where I create quick, loose, impressionistic sketches of your guests in real-time. Rather than a traditional photo booth, guests receive a hand-painted piece of art to take home as a keepsake. Participation is optional for guests, and portraits cannot be guaranteed for every attendee.
I typically illustrate between 10 to 12 guests per hour. Individual portraits typically take about 5 to 6 minutes, while pairs take approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
Not at all! To ensure your guests can keep enjoying the party, my assistant or I will take a quick reference photo of them. They are then free to return to the dance floor or activities while I work on their portrait.
Because this is a live process, I cannot always guarantee a portrait for every single attendee. However, I can finish any remaining photographed guests in my studio after the event for an additional fee.
Yes! I am based in Toronto and travel within 30 km one-way is included in my standard service. For events further away, a travel fee applies.
